Bloekom is native to south-eastern Australia, but is now found growing across South Africa. Bloekom is ideal for use in closed combustion stoves, glass-fronted fireplaces and pizza ovens. It it known for its density, which allows it to burn longer than other woods. It is also known for producing a clean burn, reaching high temperatures and generating a constant flame. It is well-known as South Africa's most popular firewood.
