Charcoal is a natural, lightweight black carbon residue produced by burning wood in minimal oxygen to remove all water and volatile constituents. It is known for burning hotter (up to 760°C) and faster than Briquettes. It produces minimal ash and adds more flavour to food, when used for cooking.
